Trusted Clothes features SAHEL
This week is Fashion Revolution week, a campaign that commemorates the lives lost in the Rana Plaza factory collapse on 24th April 2013. The Western appetite for fast, cheap fashion is destroying the planet and lives of vulnerable workers in poorer countries. It needs to change.
Turning fashion into a force for good is something that we at SAHEL are passionate about. So we are delighted to talk about it in our interview on the Trusted Clothes website. Charlie Davies shares about her journey from the couture houses of Paris to the huts of Cambodian garment workers, and the creation of SAHEL. Trusted Clothes is a Canadian organisation promoting brands that are ethical, environmentally and health conscious.
